0ai Inc. (hereinafter "the Company") considers the protection of personal information to be important and handles personal information appropriately in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan and this Privacy Policy (hereinafter "this Policy").

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information:

  • Information you provide: Name, email address, phone number, company name, and other information voluntarily provided through contact forms or emails
  • Automatically collected information: IP address, browser type, access time, pages viewed, and other log information automatically collected when you access our website
  • Information obtained through Google APIs: When our services use Google APIs, we obtain only the minimum necessary scope of data in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy

2. Purpose of Use

We use the collected personal information for the following purposes:

  • Provision, operation, and improvement of our services
  • Responding to inquiries from customers
  • Providing information about our services
  • Responding to violations of terms of service
  • Other activities incidental to the above

3. Handling of Google API Services User Data

When our services access user data through Google APIs, we adhere to the following principles:

  • Data obtained from Google API Services is used only for the purposes described in this Policy
  • Transfer of user data to third parties is limited to cases where it is necessary for service provision, where the user's explicit consent is obtained, or where required by law
  • We comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements

4. Use of YouTube API Services by Nexcast

Our internal video creation and distribution tool, Nexcast, uses the YouTube Data API v3 and OAuth 2.0 to upload videos to authorized YouTube channels.

  • Authorization scope and purpose: Nexcast requests only the youtube.upload Google OAuth scope. It uses that authorization solely to upload a video selected and expressly approved by an authorized internal user to an authorized YouTube channel
  • Information sent to YouTube: Nexcast sends the video file, title, description, privacy status, tags, made-for-kids setting, and synthetic-media disclosure expressly approved by the internal user
  • Information accessed and processed temporarily: Nexcast does not access comments, analytics, playlists, channel statistics, or viewing history. OAuth authorization information is processed only during a single upload in memory and in a local credential file readable only by the device owner. Regardless of whether authentication succeeds, Nexcast deletes that local file before making the YouTube API request. The video ID and publication time received in the YouTube API response are processed temporarily in memory to confirm the upload result. Standard output also includes a URL constructed from the video ID and repeats the privacy status, made-for-kids setting, and synthetic-media disclosure approved by the internal user
  • Storage and sharing: Nexcast does not persist OAuth authorization information or video data returned by the YouTube API to a file or database, and it does not sell, use for advertising, or disclose that information to third parties
  • User confirmation: Before information is sent to YouTube, the internal user is shown the video, metadata, privacy status, made-for-kids setting, and synthetic-media disclosure and must expressly approve the current upload. Prior approval, silence, or a default value is not treated as approval

Use of YouTube API Services by Nexcast is subject to the YouTube API Services Terms of Service, the YouTube Developer Policies, and the Google Privacy Policy.

Revoking Authorization and Deleting Stored Data

Users may revoke Nexcast's access to YouTube data at any time through the Google Account permissions page. Because Nexcast does not persist OAuth authorization information or YouTube API Data after an upload, Nexcast retains no authorization information that it can continue to use after revocation. A future upload requires new OAuth authorization. To request deletion of any related data that the Company may hold, contact us using the details below.

If authorization is revoked or we receive a deletion request and the Company holds applicable OAuth authorization information or YouTube API Data, we delete it as soon as possible and no later than 7 calendar days. Deleting data held by the Company does not delete videos or other content stored on YouTube. To delete content on YouTube, use YouTube or an authorized API client that supports deletion.

5. Disclosure to Third Parties

We will not provide personal information to third parties except in the following cases:

  • With the consent of the customer
  • When required by law
  • When necessary for the protection of life, body, or property
  • When particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound development of children

6. Security Measures

We take appropriate measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information and to ensure its secure management.

7. Disclosure, Correction, and Deletion

You may request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or erasure of your personal information held by us. Please contact us at the address below to make such requests.
